Inflation?
February 20th, 2008 3:48 PM

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose .4% yesterday. This is NOT good news for mortgage rates. As many of you know, increasing inflation concerns results in increasing mortgage rates. A slowing economy and rising inflation is a double wammy to consumers.

Those with "floating" mortgage rates should brace themselves for a bumpy few eeks.
